So far, Kyla Marshell is a writer. She has been writing since she was a single digit. Most of her published work is poetry. Much of her upcoming work is prose. That’s right. Justified on the left and the right. But poetically so. 

She has written about boys, girls, jazz, black people, and a combination of all those things. She's an alumna of Spelman College. She has lived a lot of places. At the moment, it's New York, but keep checking back.
