I’ll be moderating a conversation and tribute to my dear friend and former boss, founder of Revive Da Live/Revive Music and The Revivalist music site, Meghan Stabile. Part of Winter Jazzfest’s Jazz Talks series, the event features folks who knew Meghan in a variety of capacities, as a mentor, mentee, artist or friend. Featuring Guy Routté, Michela Marino Lerman, and Surya Botofasina. Audience members will also be encouraged to share memories of Meghan.

It’s followed by a talk from This Is a Movement, sharing findings and perspectives on the continued work of offsetting over 100 years of patriarchy in the jazz community, with musicians Roxy Coss, Michele Rosewoman, Shanta Nurullah, Paola Prestini, and moderated by Niama Safia-Sandy.
